Stephanie Meyer's Angst
After the illegal posting of Stephanie Meyer's "Midnight Sun" I have done some serious reflection on how much of my work it's safe to put online. Of course there are some major differences. If my manuscript was available online chances are no one would bother to look at it. Still, it's pretty hard to sell something that is already available to the public for free. Kudos to Stephanie who states that she believes there was no malicious intent on the part of said person who was kind enough to post her work online. But, I can't help but think that this individual was either completely clueless or trying to sabotage her.

About Me
- Kristin Hayes
- My active imagination began at the age of four when I insisted that fairies lived in stars. The reputation has stayed with me since kindergarten. Despite the encouragement of my English teachers I pursued another passion and graduated from Weber State University with a degree in nursing. I work part time in the Recovery Room at Avenues Surgical Center and now The Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Murray, UT. I spend a lot of time writing, via laptop, while I care for my two small children, Ben who is five and Rylee now eighteen months.

Hey Krisin. I got the link to your blog off of the utahwritersgroup. I agree. I'm starting to worry a little bit about my online critique group. They all have access to the manuscripts I submit for critiques. Perhaps SM was doing the same.
